Woman Gives Birth At Petco Park

It’s possible that Petco Park was the most emotional joint in San Diego last night.

Not only did the Padres spank the San Francisco Giants (5-4), a woman gave birth to a bouncing baby boy during the third inning. Whaaaaat???!

Little baby┬áLevi was born in Petco Park’s Palm Court Plaza and was delivered by the ballpark’s medical team (firefighters were en route, but little Levi couldn’t wait) The Union Tribune reports.

The Park announced the birth by playing Steppenwolf’s “Born to Be Wild.” Ha! What a reception.

Mom and babe were taken to Kaiser Permanente San Diego Medical Center, Capt. Joe Amador of the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department told the San Diego Union Tribune.

Whether or not little Levi will grow up to be a Padre’s fan remains to be seen, one thing is for sure, his mom has the best birth story of all time!
