The Voice, season 11 looks to be off the chain! With two fierce new female judges — Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus — demonstrating their willingness to go to the matts to nab the best talent, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton better bring their A-game.
In the Season 11 preview, we saw the four judges duke it out over two contestants, Wé McDonald and Darby Walker.
Both ladies brought crazy talent to the stage. McDonald sang Nina Simone’s “Feeling Good” a cappella and Walker tapped into her inner Florence and the Machine with “Stand By Me.”
While each of the judges made convincing pitches to the talented ladies, Cyrus and Keys were the judges to welcome the two talents into their folds. McDonald chose to team up with Keys while Walker joined team Cyrus.
The season preview was dedicated to former contestant Christina Grimmie, who was shot and killed several months ago. Grimmie’s photo was displayed with a dedication during the airing of the episiode.
Followed immediately by an all-cast rendition of Aerosmith’s “Dream.”
