Donald Glover Series ‘Atlanta’ Premieres

Atlanta airs Tuesday nights at 10PM on FX.

The long-awaited Donald Glover TV series, Atlanta finally premiered last night on FX.

Atlanta tells the story of Earnest “Earn” Marks (Glover) and his up-and-coming rapper cousin Alfred “Paper Boi” Miles, played by Brian Tyree Henry. Earn (Glover), a Princeton University dropout, sees a last chance to make something of himself by offering to help manage his cousin Paper Boi.

But this isn’t your stylized show about the music industry. Unlike shows like Empire, Atlanta takes a more realistic approach to an artist trying to make it big in the rap game, while also trying to navigate the everyday struggle of living in the city of Atlanta.

Donald Glover has proven time and time again to be one of this generation’s most creative minds. From his time on shows like 30Rock and Community, to his musical talents as Childish Gambino, Atlanta has the potential to be one of the best shows of the season. And we highly recommend you check out.

Atlanta airs Tuesday nights at 10PM on FX. But if you missed the premiere, you can watch now on YouTube and Facebook.
