Dave Chappelle is Back! Thanks Netflix!

By Evonne Ermey

First Chris Rock and now Dave Chappelle, Netflix is killing it in the stand-up comedy genre!

The streaming giant announced Monday, via Twitter that they had inked a deal with the elusive comedian.

No, this doesn’t mean The Chappelle Show is back, the contract with Netflix bypasses the sketch comedy format. Viewers can expect three stand-up specials, two of which have already been taped with a third in the works, according to Ars Technica.

Viewers can expect to stream Chappelles’ April 2015 performance from Austin City Limits Live and another from a March 2016 show at the Hollywood Palladium. With no firm release dates, Variety reports that the two pre-recorded shows will be released simultaneously next year.
